Senior / Project Engineer

Sales & Commercial:

• Liaison with Claxton sales team to identify and respond to sales opportunities, assisting where required with preparation of bids and quotations for potential projects.
• Participating in Commercial handovers to define and understand project requirements upon award. Clarifying scope, objectives, schedule and budgets.

Project Delivery:

• Fulfilment of Project Management duties in respect of assigned projects in a pro-active manner, including regular interface with all internal stakeholders and clients.
• Preparation of comprehensive programmes of work, Offshore & Onshore Operations Procedures, System Integration test and Factory Acceptance test documentation.
• Generation of detailed equipment lists and Platform / Vessel Interface plans.
• Responsibility for safe delivery of the products and services to clients on time and within budget for allocated projects.
• Preparation of documentation for workshop activities such as assembly procedures, resource & consumables plans to allow workshop activities to be conducted as per approved plans and procedures.
• Control and management of all commercial and technical aspects of assigned Projects.
• Control and forecast project performance via the CTX management sheet, pulling information from NAV and SharePoint as required.
• Ensure NAV and CTX are in unison ahead of month end and support invoicing as required.
• Preparation of variation requests for ongoing active projects.
• Responsible for managing risk via Risk Management System, facilitating Risk Reviews and controlling mitigating actions.
• Generation of Risk and Quality management plans.
• Attendance to client meetings regarding project progress.
• Attendance offshore to supervise and assure project execution and fulfilment, where contractually obliged.
• Be responsible for out of hour’s calls on an ‘as and when required’ basis following a Claxton on call rota system
